Sleazey but no real shock value or anything you would call disturbing
As far as Cat III films go I thought this one was pretty tame. It's quite entertaining and the plot is original but for anyone who is familiar with the Cat III genre, they will probably question what in the film warranted the top classification.
The basic story is a young man's grandpa is some sort of doctor/scientist who makes his own crazy medicines. The young man (sorry I can never remember Asian names) gets access to the medicines and uses them to poison & blackmail his boss for an antidote and have his wicked way with girls. Whilst the plot might sound quite sinister and worthy of a Cat III film, there is no gore whatsoever and the scenes of supposed rape don't look or feel harrowing and won't disturb you as scenes of that nature normally do.
It felt more like a soft porn film with a decent plot and storyline and even an attempt of a small twist at the end. A decent enough film to watch, in conclusion, but I wouldn't go out of your way to see it especially if you're expecting to get another slice of the usual shocking and disturbing Cat III action. This one didn't deliver on that front - not for me anyway.
Most frustrating of all for the lads out there was that we have to wait until the end of the film for the sex scene with the cutest girl in the cast, only to find out that she's the only female character in the entire film who's breasts you don't get a good look at! Typical!
