The story of a person's journey to find more and the realization that he already has it.

I always ask myself the key question about a movie first, was the film entertaining. The Stonecutter was entertaining. I also felt very good after watching the show.

This film's storyline allows the viewer to go on a real "head trip" and that is what I did when I first viewed it. There is a lot of symbolism that one can glean from this film. The next time I viewed it I just went along for the journey.

Pop/Art Film Factory has done it again. Director and producer Daniel Zirilli once again brings another film to life. The camera work captures the pure tropical beauty that is the setting for the Stonecutter. Narration of the story is excellent and the voice is most tranquil. The soundtrack tugs your heart strings and pulls you into the main character's moment in time.

A good show that one can certainly relate too. No surprise that the Stonecutter was the winner of the Visionaries In Film Award of the Bahamas One World Film Festival.

I very well thought out and well timed comedy. There were so many great twist and turns that you can not help laughing until you cry. It shows that you do not need millions of dollars to make a good film. The cast was superb, as well as the writing. Great job to everyone involved.

Dreadful - Too Bad There Aren't Minus Ratings

I loved the first Highlander movie, loved the series, and have found every movie after the first to be pretty awful - but I watch them anyway, hoping against hope that they'll prove me wrong. I thought it couldn't get any worse than Highlander: Endgame, but I was very much mistaken. This is just a terrible movie - like watching a train wreck.

If they didn't destroy continuity in every movie and rewrite the history of the Highlander universe, it might be bearable. Like every other Highlander movie, this one acts like nothing came before it and nothing about it makes sense - it's an insult to the intelligence of the fans. And we have to suffer through yet another half-witted attempt to re-invent the source of immortality and what happens if "there can be only one." The post-apocalyptic world is just plain dark and dreary. Endgame was sort of heading in that direction - it was significantly more world-weary and tattered than the world of the series. However, The Source just plain doesn't make sense. For the world to have gotten in this condition, more than a few years would have to have passed, and Joe Dawson should look more than a couple of years older - by rights the character should have been dead before this movie takes place. But hey, I guess they figure we can't add either.

The fight scenes are terrible - the speeded-up special effects destroy the fun of the fight scenes, and you always expect one decent sword-fighting scene in a Highlander movie - not this one! If I had realized how bad this was going to be, I could have resigned myself to ogling Methos for a couple of hours. This movie is so bad even *that* isn't enjoyable. If I had seen this in a movie theater I'd have wanted my money back. As it is, I want back the time I wasted watching this dreck.

I'm giving up Highlander movies for good. As far as I'm concerned, There Can Be Only One Highlander Movie - and this isn't it.

One of the greatest dramatic films I've ever seen.

I caught a screening of this film last night at a small film festival, The First Anual Desert Reel Festival in Odessa, TX, and was absolutely blown away. This film should not be reduced to scraping around at festivals trying to pick up attention. This film should be number one at the box office. Understand that this remark comes from a guy who is generally very hard on dramatic films. The emotions are usually overblown and the conclusions often ring false or forced. Not in THE HAVEN. All of the characters were well developed and completely believable. I haven't cried in a film since I was 7 or 8 years old watching ET, but let me tell you, there were several scenes in this one that nearly got me. I can't say enough about what a fabulous film this is, or even about the accessibility of those who made it. I met the writer/director, the editor, the producer and one of the stars at the festival and found them all to be really great guys. I wish them, and THE HAVEN all the luck in the world with this excellent film. And I urge any studio with any credibility at all to pick up this movie at the first opportunity. Stars or no, this is the best drama I've seen in years. Possibly ever.
